This picture is an ad for a beautiful dress. This dress belongs to the great couture dress maker Mary Black. She owned a boutique in NY in the 1960’s and make one of kind vintage dresses. Mary made exclusive dresses for her clients and used fabrics from all around Europe. She started her business in London in 1930 and moved her business to United States during the 1960’s. Her dresses are rare and worth thousands of dollars today. Not much is know about her life or how she built her brand, but the images of her dresses tells a story.
